The Polish Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (PZWLP), the only industry organization in Poland that brings together long-term car rental companies and car rental outlets (Rent a Car) selected new authorities in March for a two-year term. Robert Antczak, General Director of Arval Poland took over the position of the President of the Board of PZWLP for the third consecutive term. The new PZWLP board also includes Paweł Piórkowski, CEO of Hertz (Motorent sp. z o.o.), Daniel Trzaskowski, CEO of Carefleet, Piotr Wróbel, Sales Director of Alphabet Polska, and Tomasz Kapelko, CEO of 99rent.
Robert Antczak, two-time President of PZWLP and General Director of Arval Service Lease Poland since December 2019, has been associated with the BNP Paribas Group since 2017. His banking career started in 2002 at Bank Handlowy in Warsaw S.A. (Citigroup). He has served in a variety of roles in the organization, from Director of the Leasing Department in 2004-2009 to the Director of the Sales Department in the Santander Bank Polska S.A from 2013-2017.
The five-person PZWLP board also features Paweł Piórkowski, who has been a board member of PZWLP since 2017 and is the CEO of Hertz, Daniel Trzaskowski, who started his automotive career in 2001 at Opel Nivette and is the CEO of Carefleet, Piotr Wróbel, Chief Commercial Officer of Alphabet Polska, and Tomasz Kapelko, President of 99RENT Sp. z o.o.
PZWLP, an organization that has been in existence for nearly 20 years, is one of the most important organizations in the fleet market in Poland and the only one representing the car rental industry. In 2023, the car rental industry acquired over 85,000 new cars to meet the needs of the rental services on offer. As a result, PZWLP has a significant influence on the second-hand cars market, offering tens of thousands of post-contract used cars per year.
“In addition to the PZWLP Board, the organization elected the Audit Committee for another two-year term in March. Marcin Nivette, President of NFM, Dariusz Tucharz, Director of the Sales and Business Development Department at mLeasing, and Hubert Laszczyk, President of Express, will continue their work in this body. The PZWLP, which has been in existence since 2005, works to develop and professionalize the fleet market in Poland,” PZWLP President Robert Antczak said.
