According to the assumptions adopted in the process of buying Bakalland Sp. z o.o. and subsequent acquisition of Purella Sp. z o.o., Marian Owerko is moving from the position of CEO to the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

“In 2022, when buying the company from Innova Capital, we assumed that I would serve as the CEO until a successor was found. The process of finding my successor took longer than we expected, but we are satisfied with the result, which is the subject of this announcement,” says Marian Owerko, Founder and new Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

From January 1, 2024, the new CEO of FoodWell is Monzer Elabrashy, an experienced leader with 15 years of experience in sales, marketing, and general management at Coca-Cola in Belarus, Ukraine, Poland, Hungary, UK, Sweden, and Norway. His professional experience also includes 3 years at Red Bull, where Monzer oversaw the expansion to Eastern Europe and Asia, as well as nearly 5 very successful years as the CEO and General Manager of CEDC. Then Monzer took the position of SVP at Juul Labs, being responsible for the brand expansion in the EMEA region. Monzer joined FoodWell as a general manager in August 2023.

“We have agreed on a goal, strategy, and transition period with Monzer over the last 5 months. Now, Monzer, with full commitment, knowledge, and responsibility, is starting the new year as a CEO,” says Marian Owerko, Founder and new Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

My job will be to strengthen their position in the polish market as well as expand our presence in international markets.
