ZPC Otmuchów, one of the largest confectionery producers in Poland and a leading manufacturer of gummies in Europe, has signed a preliminary agreement to sell an organized part of the business of PWC Odra S.A. to ZPC Śnieżka S.A. The goal of the transaction is to increase the production capacity of both manufacturers, with the Otmuchów Group focusing on its core business of gummy production.
On September 12, 2024, the Otmuchów Group entered into a preliminary sale agreement for the ZCP PWC Odra S.A. to ZPC Śnieżka S.A. The transaction is intended to allow ZPC Otmuchów S.A. to focus on its main business, gummy production, while enhancing the business opportunities of PWC Odra S.A., as ZPC Śnieżka S.A. is one of the largest chocolate product manufacturers in Poland.
“This transaction is a well-considered move on our part. For many months, we have been implementing a strategy to develop our core business—gummy production. One such decision was the expansion of our production plant in Nysa, which increased production volume and diversified our product offerings. We are confident that this transaction will be fruitful for both parties,” said Marcin Kukliński, CEO of ZPC Otmuchów S.A.
