There are already 9,000 franchisees running their local businesses under the Żabka banner. The diversity and uniqueness of the franchisees are the strength of the network. Thanks to them, Żabka’s offer is available almost everywhere in Poland, including in small towns. Last year, Żabka network launched over 1000 new stores, 130 of which are in towns with less than 50,000 inhabitants. Entrepreneurs developing their businesses with Żabka in small towns and rural areas can count on additional network support. One of the offered solutions is the “Car at Start” program, which provides a vehicle for transportation to the outlet. This program is directed to entrepreneurs running the shops in places with up to 30,000 people or living in other locations daily. Another benefit is the relocation package, a monthly financial support for franchisees who decide to relocate to open a shop in a town with up to 50,000 inhabitants.
“From the point of view of the Żabka Group, the second half of the year is a strong focus firstly on further dynamic network development and secondly on investments in the customer’s shopping experience,” Przemysław Kijewski, Operations Director of Żabka Poland, told eNewsroom.pl during Retail Trends 2024. “Talking about the first aspect, we certainly want to maintain the development pace. As we have already mentioned many times, we want to open over 1000 stores also in 2024 – to celebrate and rejoice the opening of store number 11,000 in the fourth quarter of this year. The second, extremely important thing – is investment in the customer. We already started such activities last year – we will also continue them in the second half of the current year. I am thinking about the offer of meals straight from the oven – we are focusing on expanding this offer, adding more stores – so that we can exceed 7000 stores with the offer of warm snacks. We have in sale fries, burgers or the iconic Chrupboxy from Żabka. Our goal is a strong focus on the customer, a deep understanding of their needs. These are the elements we will focus on in the second half of the year,” forecasts Przemysław Kijewski.
