COMPANIESXTPL sees increasing positive effects of clients' work on over 30 DPS devices sold so far

Last week, XTPL reported the sale of 31 of its Delta Printing System (DPS) prototype devices on a cumulative basis since the commercialization of this business line began at the turn of 2020/2021, with a rapid acceleration in 2023. The recipients and active users of the sold devices are research institutes (71%) and industrial customers (29%) from Europe, North America, and Asia. Their daily work utilizing XTPL’s technology contributes to its proliferation worldwide, creating new industrial implementation opportunities for the company. XTPL’s main projects are currently in the display and semiconductor sector, but its technology is being tested globally in areas such as bioelectronics, 6G communications, and electronic skin. The XTPL management sees growing positive effects from introducing its technology in key markets worldwide, which supports the company’s vision of becoming a global standard in manufacturing next-generation electronics.

“The Delta Printing System business line serves two vital functions for us. In the short term, it provides a significant boost to our financial results, due to the sale price of the device and the attractive margin level we achieve on it. In the long term, it demonstrates our technology, which users from Europe, North America, and Asia are testing in various areas and applications. To reap tangible benefits from “inoculating” our technology in key markets, a sufficiently large number of actively used devices is necessary. We currently see that with over 30 devices sold globally, these benefits are beginning to flow to us in ever wider streams,” said Filip Granek, CEO of XTPL S.A.

The XTPL’s Delta Printing System is an independent research and development and prototype system that allows the company’s proprietary Ultra Precise Dispensing (UPD) technology to be tested on various substrates and using the company’s metallic nanoinks. The system also provides access to third-party materials, allowing for broader use of inks, including those based on materials other than metallic nanoinks. The UPD technology can apply extremely small amounts of special materials to a substrate, like an electronic PCB, with an accuracy of up to 1 ÎŒm.

So far, XTPL has sold 31 Delta Printing System devices to customers from Europe (39%), North America (23%), and Asia (39%). The price of a single device ranges from approximately 170,000 EUR to 200,000 EUR, depending on the market or the type of customer.

“After proving its value in the R&D area, XTPL is working on moving its solutions from lab to factory with a focus on moving from laboratory validation to production applications. Industrial implementations of the company’s technology are the most important business line for scaling XTPL’s business,” said Jacek OlszaƄski, the CFO of XTPL.
