Marcin Skrzypczak is another expert from Iron Mountain in Poland who has been recognised with a promotion in the global structure of the organization. The former Operations Director responsible for the Polish market took over operations in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, and Norway at the beginning of 2024. He has been with the company for nearly 10 years.
Marcin Skrzypczak joined Iron Mountain in 2015 as Branch Operations Manager. Over the past decade, he has continually ascended the ranks within the internal structures of the Operations Department. For the last two years, he has held the role of Operations Director for the Polish market. From January 1 this year, his scope of responsibility has broadened to the Nordics, including Finland, Sweden, Denmark, and Norway.
“It is a great honour for me that I can develop in the structures of an international organization, and thus have an increasing influence on its operations. Currently, I manage the Core Service area, which includes key services, such as transport, storage, and document handling, destruction, archival work, digital mailrooms and data digitisation. Numbers prove that the scale deserves recognition. Currently, we employ 600 full-time workers in the region, serving customers in 6 languages, in 22 locations. The total area of the managed warehouse facilities exceeds 420,000 m3, and our fleet includes 45 vehicles. Annually, it covers about 2 million km, of which as much as 30% are fully electric vehicles. As a result, our company generates 90 fewer tons of carbon dioxide annually, equivalent to planting 15,000 trees. Marcin Skrzypczak is a sociology graduate from Wroclaw University and he also holds an Executive MBA from Wrocław University of Science and Technology. He has extensive experience in working with key clients from sectors such as finance, energy, public, and industrial.
