COMPANIESIgloo Company from JRH's portfolio introduces a dehumidifier based on a heat pump

IGLOO, a company in the JRH portfolio, is introducing a dehumidifier based on a heat pump. The company’s engineers have developed an industrial room dehumidifier based on their flagship model, the MultiTherma heat pump. This solution from IGLOO makes it possible to dehumidify rooms using a specialised module, while a base on wheels allows for easy manoeuvring within buildings. After the dehumidifying work is done, the special attachment can be removed and the device returns to its primary function as a heat pump.

MiÅ‚osz WÅ‚odarczyk from IGLOO said, “Thanks to our experience in manufacturing heating and cooling devices, air dehumidifiers, and devices such as room sterilisers, in response to the need to dehumidify large buildings flooded during floods, we adapted our professional heat pumps for post-flood applications. This was possible because we produce our devices in Poland, and we also have our own software. As a result, we were able to respond quickly and modify the heat pump. The developed technology effectively allows us to provide two devices at the price of one dehumidifier, a dehumidifier and a heat pump. Thanks to the Team Litewka foundation, three of them have already reached places affected by the disaster.”

The IGLOO heat pump, along with the dehumidifying module, achieves very high efficiency, reaching 97%. These are devices with a high output, even 500 l/day, suitable for use in public buildings, such as schools, kindergartens, or offices, dehumidifying up to 4000 m³. They could also be useful in dealing with flooding in commercial, office, and production properties. The company also consistently offers smaller dehumidifying devices.

IGLOO and MILOO-ELECTRONICS, companies operating in Stary Wiśnicz (Lesser Poland Voivodeship), recently secured significant investment – JRH ASI S.A., which has contributed PLN 40 million to support the development of the MultiTherma heat pump production department.

“IGLOO has unique technology, developed by Polish engineers, that allows for the production of heat pumps with exceptional parameters that meet stringent EU standards. The speed of the dehumidification module’s development confirms the agile and professional approach of this company. Such rapid modification was possible due to full control over the production process. I think the mentioned products will contribute to better removal of the effects of the disaster that has hit the south of the country in recent days,” stated January Ciszewski, President of JRH ASI S.A.
