CPS GfK Becomes YouGov

COMPANIESCPS GfK Becomes YouGov

Ten months after being acquired by YouGov, Consumer Panel Services (CPS GfK) is officially changing its brand name to YouGov. This marks the beginning of a new chapter for CPS GfK, which boasts 60 years of experience in consumer research. From now on, the company becomes an integral part of YouGov.

The rebranding process has been ongoing since CPS GfK was acquired in January 2023. Aside from adopting the visual elements of the YouGov brand, this also includes a comprehensive business review across the organization to unify the expertise, values, and goals of YouGov and CPS GfK. All of this is aimed at creating a coherent brand strategy and communication approach reflecting the global ambitions of YouGov.

“CPS GfK is now YouGov. The change of the brand name is a milestone for us. We are proud of our experience and we know it will pay off within the structures of YouGov. This is an organization that believes in high-quality data, combining it with research knowledge and technology-driven innovation,” says Stefan Heremans, CEO and acting general director of CPS GfK.

“We are looking forward with enthusiasm to the process of full integration with YouGov, where changing our brand name is a key stage. As part of YouGov, we will continue what we are best at – cooperating with current and future clients and supporting them in the best understanding of the Polish retail market and consumer behavior. Thanks to unique opportunities of YouGov, our portfolio of solutions will be significantly enriched. Together we will act more courageously, faster, and even more effectively, responding to the key business challenges of our customers,” says Szymon Mordasiewicz, managing director of CPS GfK in Poland.

Rebranding is a breakthrough moment for both CPS GfK and YouGov. The foundation of the brand’s new version is high-quality data (from real buyers) that helps organizations better understand the real needs and purchase decisions of consumers.

The new strategy is based on four pillars: ensuring the highest quality of data; developing a unique community of consumers who share their opinions and purchase decisions; offering expert knowledge; and using innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence. All of this guarantees a competitive edge for YouGov in the market.

By combining real and current data with technology and expert knowledge, YouGov provides its business partners with the highest quality information and insights.

“Now that CPS GfK is part of YouGov, it’s important to emphasize what we offer customers: real research. It’s a breakthrough moment for all of YouGov. Currently, our priority is to focus on our mission – to provide real-time data from real consumers. It’s possible thanks to the panel that shares its opinions and actions with us. Combined with tech platforms and research knowledge, we provide customers with clear and accurate data,” said Mike Woods, director of marketing at YouGov.

Rebranding also means updating all resources and channels of the CPS GfK brand. Communication with clients and partners has already shifted to the YouGov brand, and CPS GfK’s own social media channels and website will be phased out by the end of November 2024.
