On November 22, 2024, the Mercor Group signed a preliminary agreement to sell its smoke exhaust and fire ventilation business to the Kingspan Group, a leading global provider of insulation technologies and comprehensive system solutions for high-performance, low CO2 emission buildings.
We are very pleased with the agreement with Kingspan Group. We have acquired a reputable investor who wants to include and develop our products in the gravity smoke exhaust and fire ventilation segment under the “Mercor” brand, which means interesting development opportunities for the employees of these departments. Thanks to the planned sale, we will obtain funds to implement our new business plans, including Fire Safety 4.0. We also plan to strengthen our position in fire protection of building structures, fire doors and gates, as well as energy storage. The Board’s intention is also to share a significant part of the acquired funds with our shareholders – said Krzysztof Krempeć, CEO of Mercor SA.
