COMPANIESGaming Factory increases revenues by 24 percent in the first half of the year

Gaming Factory is on the final stretch of completing their biggest production, Japanese Drift Master. The company, listed on the main GPW market as a producer and publisher, is introducing the final elements of game optimization and investing in more large-scale promotional campaigns. After a successful game presentation at Gamescom, the company, together with their foreign co-publisher 4Divinity, will present the title at the Tokyo Game Show 2024 in September. In early August, they released a free prologue of JDM: Rise of the Scorpion that was downloaded almost 400,000 times and currently has an average player rating of 73 percent.

“For months, we have been focusing our efforts and resources on the best possible refinement of Japanese Drift Master prior to its release. We aim to meet the expectations of players who downloaded our prologue and introduce improvements, including better game optimization. Despite significant financial and staffing costs, we also maintain our ongoing production and publishing activities, as shown by the increase in sales revenues. We look forward to the console premieres of Slavic Punk: Oldtimer and the Puppet House game on PC and PS and Xbox consoles,” Mateusz Adamkiewicz, CEO of Gaming Factory S.A., said.

In the first half of the year, Gaming Factory’s individual revenues exceeded PLN 1.7 million, an increase of over 24 percent compared to the previous year. During the period, the company’s loss totalled almost PLN 0.6 million, caused by the increased expenditure on the production of the Japanese Drift Master.

Gaming Factory is now entering a phase of key promotional activities preceding the premiere of JDM. In August, the Polish producer was present at Gamescom with their stand. This time, Japanese Drift Master will be presented at one of the largest gaming events in the world, the Tokyo Game Show.

“Being at the fair in Cologne allowed us to present our title to thousands of players and build our position in the eyes of business partners. We had a prominent stand with 11 stations, including 3 for sim racing, and our own branded drifting car. We now hope that the presentation of Japanese Drift Master in the home of drifting will result in an even greater increase in the recognition of our game,” summed up the CEO of Gaming Factory.

Gaming Factory also announced a partnership with Intel, which will technologically support the production of JDM and, thanks to its reach, increase promotions for the title. As part of the collaboration, Gaming Factory will also be present at industry events organised by Intel.
