Poland strengthens its position in the space sector
Poland is also expanding its activities in space. In CGI, a division dealing with projects in the space sector has been created by Kinga Gruszecka since September. The president of the Association of Polish Space Professionals had developed her professional career at the Polish Space Agency, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development. She is a graduate of Maria Curie-SkÅ‚odowska University in Lublin as well as postgraduate studies at the Leon Kozminski Academy (LiderShe), where she also lectured on “Entrepreneurship in the Space Sector.” She participated in numerous international courses and scholarships, including at Harvard University, Rotary clubs, and the U.S. State Department. She shares her passion and acquired experience with others during numerous meetings and debates. She had the opportunity to also discuss the potential of the sector at the prestigious TEDx SGH.
“Space is closer to us than we think. Projects and solutions related to it have a chance to raise the quality of life of many people at many different levels”- emphasizes Kinga Gruszecka. “During my career path, which has been intertwined with the space sector for nearly a decade, I have had the pleasure of implementing many ambitious projects. It’s a fascinating and never-ending challenge. I’m excited that now I will be able to carry out further unconventional and valuable projects together with the CGI professionals from Poland and the whole world.”
“The development of CGI has been very evident in recent years. We’ve expanded our presence in the energy sector and now are focusing our attention on space,” says Krzysztof Ulicki, Head of Commercial Sector at CGI. “As CGI, we have extensive competence in the space sector. Our Estonian team closely cooperates with the European Space Agency, and we have our tools for analyzing space images. We closely cooperate with solution leaders at the international level. In building the space sector, we want to propose our experience to Polish companies and organizations. Our philosophy of global locality will be our greatest asset in comparison to other companies operating in this sector. Both local and global.”
