According to their Strategy, XTPL has launched their first foreign demonstration and sales center in one of the most important markets for modern technologies – Boston, USA. The facility is located in a new technology incubator, which attracts innovators and technology corporations seeking new solutions. Over 40 higher education institutions can be found in the Boston metropolitan area alone, including some of the most prestigious such as MIT, Harvard, Cambridge, and Northeastern University which, since December 2023, have had their own XTPL’s Delta Printing System (DPS) device. The Boston branch is part of XTPL Inc., fully owned by XTPL S.A., and is managed by Urs Berger leading the active sales activities in North America since January this year. In 2024 alone, XTPL has already delivered 5 DPS devices to the North American market, with 4 of them going to industrial customers. Meaning, the Boston branch could become profitable in 2024 alone and contribute positively to XTPL Group’s results starting from 2025. The first foreign demonstration and sales center is part of XTPL’s strategy for 2023-2026, aimed at a 10-fold increase in business scale to PLN 100 million in product and service sales revenues in 2026.
“Boston is widely regarded as a so-called hot spot of innovation in the USA, regularly attracting large capital and leading players from the largest and fastest-growing industries, which include semiconductors, defense, medtech, and space technologies. Having a local facility here with a team that holds a US passport significantly broadens the range of possibilities related to the application of our breakthrough UPD technology in new areas, previously inaccessible to XTPL, especially those requiring the strictest confidentiality and restricted access to information,” comments Filip Granek, CEO of XTPL S.A. “Since the beginning of the year, we have significantly increased our engagement on the US market. We hired a world-class Managing Director, delivered 5 DPS devices, and are making progress on a project aimed at industrial implementation with a direct partner, a leading industrial machinery manufacturer in the USA listed on the Nasdaq 100.”
XTPL has delivered a total of 7 DPS devices to customers in the U.S. and Canada over the past 2 years, the majority of which were industrial customers. On November 15th, the ongoing testing of a prototype industrial device, with a Nasdaq 100 listed global company from the USA as a direct partner, is being continued.
The demonstration and sales center in Boston will be equipped with the Company’s products and the necessary laboratory facilities to demonstrate XTPL’s technology and solutions. The facility is managed by Urs Berger, the Managing Director hired in January of this year, who previously held key management roles at Optomec in the additive technology industry, as well as an Application Engineer who is currently completing training in XTPL technology.
“The XTPL demo and sales center in Boston has several important tasks, which we have fully prepared for. It represents another tool for conducting active sales processes, enriched with the ability to conduct stationary demonstrations of our products and technologies,” said Jacek Olszański, Board Member for Finance at XTPL S.A.
