COMPANIESSUNEX expands production of heat pumps and innovative heating devices in a historic early 20th-century facility

SUNEX has been focusing heavily on investment and development in recent years, including expanding their production capabilities. “Exactly two years ago, with the thought of expanding the assortment of our own production of RES sector devices, we purchased properties adjacent to our headquarters along with office and factory buildings. Their total area was almost 1.3 hectares. The halls, one of which dates back to the early 20th century, required renovations. We wanted to adapt the facilities for the production of heat pumps and innovative hydraulic-heating devices on a large scale, while preserving the historical character of the buildings,” says Romuald Kalyciok, CEO of SUNEX.

Before they were acquired by SUNEX, these halls belonged to the Factory Machines and Transport Equipment, and even earlier to the production plants of sugar factory equipment in Raciborz.

In May of this year, SUNEX also purchased a property from Mavex – Record. This property is on a plot adjacent to the company’s existing plant. Industrial buildings will ultimately be used to produce parts for tanks, including composite tanks.

Currently, SUNEX owns 24.8 thousand square meters of production and warehouse space in Poland.
