Revolut Unveils 2025 Plans: AI Assistant, Mortgage Loans, and ATM Network

COMPANIESRevolut Unveils 2025 Plans: AI Assistant, Mortgage Loans, and ATM Network

During a weekend meeting and concert event named “The Revolutionaries” in London, celebrating the milestone of reaching 50 million customers worldwide, the co-founders of Revolut – Nik Storonsky and Vlad Yatsenko – took to the stage to share the company’s vision for its services development in 2025. Among the priorities were: mobile accessible mortgage loans, wider use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the app, and an ATM network.

Revolut, which focused in 2024 on building scale – with over 10 million new customers joining since January – aims to speed up the pace of creating and releasing product innovations. The objective is to build an advantage in user experience (UX), add more unique features to the market, and become the first truly “global bank”.

Key initiatives announced during the event include:

AI

Revolut plans to make wider use of artificial intelligence. A financial assistant is to appear in the app, which will calibrate services to the individual needs and preferences of customers – guiding towards healthy financial habits, providing data for better decisions, and simplifying money management. This new feature will be rolled out gradually next year and developed with new possibilities brought by AI advancement. The goal is to simplify personal finances.

Mortgage Loans

Revolut Bank UAB aims to become the first-choice bank. It is consistently expanding the range of traditional banking services available from the app, such as loans. The Polish are familiar with and already use its credit cards, consumer loans and consolidation loans. During the weekend, however, a prediction was made to include a new product in the offering: mortgage loans. The pilot market in 2025 will be Lithuania, followed by Ireland and France. The aim is to deliver the fastest, fully digital mortgage product on the market, with an immediate preliminary decision and a final offer within one working day (conditional on property valuation and necessary checks). Mortgage loans will be an important element of the comprehensive credit offering that the bank is building in Europe. It is also possible that an overdraft (i.e., a limit in the current account) may also appear in next year’s offer.

ATMs

Ultra-modern ATMs with the Revolut logo will appear on the streets of European cities in 2025. A pilot will be launched in Spain at the beginning of next year. Revolut’s ATM network will both dispense cash and issue payment cards. In the future, Revolut machines are also expected to accept cash deposits. To increase safety, the company is considering the use of facial recognition biometrics to confirm the identity of the person withdrawing/depositing cash.

Revolut Business:
Nik Storonsky and Vlad Yatsenko also announced that in 2025, Revolut Business will launch its first credit product for companies in Europe. Moreover, the aim is to provide corporate clients with some of the highest interest-bearing savings accounts on all EU markets. Revolut Business will also focus on industries such as gastronomy and retailing. It will offer assistance in managing financial operations in restaurants and shops through the Revolut Kiosk platform. Possible innovations include the application of new biometric authorization and payment methods. The development of the Revolut Pay gateway for online transactions, adding new payment methods, and BNPL (or “buy now, pay later”) services will also remain a priority.

“2024 was an exceptional year for Revolut. We gained the trust of millions of new customers. We introduced many useful services and innovative products to the market. The year 2025 will be even more groundbreaking. We want to revolutionize traditional banking, for the benefit of people. We are on track to achieve this.” – said Nik Storonsky, co-founder and CEO at Revolut.

“Revolut is changing the face of finance. In less than a decade, 50 million customers have joined Revolut. This is proof that consumers want to get more benefits from their money. This weekend, during the meetings and concerts of The Revolutionaries in London, we are celebrating this success. The truth is, however, that we are already thinking about what’s next – our next goal is to reach 100 million customers and become the first truly global bank.” – said Antoine Le Nel, Chief Growth and Marketing Officer, Partner at Revolut.

Revolut presented its development vision for 2025 during the 2-day event “The Revolutionaries” this weekend in London.
