COMPANIESPAD RES to Build Two Solar Farms in Lubusz Voivodeship

PAD RES, a Polish developer specializing in renewable energy projects, will implement two photovoltaic farms with a total capacity of 95 MW. The investments are located in the Lubusz Voivodeship, and the farms will meet the electricity needs of approximately 50,000 households.

In March of this year, the developer acquired two PV farm projects located in the Lubusz Voivodeship. The first project was prepared by the company WESTSONNE. The investment will be carried out near the village of Stary Dworek in the Bledzew municipality, in the Międzyrzecz district. The PV farm will cover an area of approximately 70 hectares, with a total connection capacity of 45 MW and an installed capacity of around 60 MW. The construction of the project is planned for late 2025 to early 2026.

PAD RES also acquired the rights to a PV project located in the village of Raków in the Świebodzin municipality. The group collaborated on this project with the local renewable energy developer Frankiewicz Energy. The investment will cover an area of up to 75 hectares, with a total connection capacity of 50 MW and a possible installed capacity of up to 65 MW. The construction of the farm will begin at the start of 2026.

– “We are delighted to announce the expansion of our project portfolio with two new PV installations. This is another step towards active participation in the green transformation of the energy sector. With these projects, we are not only increasing the availability of clean energy but also strengthening our position as a leader in the renewable energy industry,” says Michał Zbrojski, Director of Acquisitions at PAD RES.

The planned commissioning of both installations is scheduled for 2027.
