The management of Mex Polska S.A. has decided to expand the gastronomic offer of the Capital Group with a new format from the pizzeria sector by signing an agreement with the initiator of the PIZZANOVA concept, valued by consumers. This cooperation is another step in the implementation of the Group’s development strategy and its operational transparency. It also confirms the long-term commitment to the development of multibranding, which is the foundation for building the value of the Capital Group Mex Polska.
According to the assumptions of cooperation, it is planned to open at least three new PIZZANOVA premises within the next 18 months. The investment will be entirely financed from the funds of the Mex Polska Group.
The initiator of the PIZZANOVA concept is Łukasz Kowalewski, related to the president of Mex Polska S.A., Paweł Kowalewski. – We decided to combine our experiences in gastronomy, which will strengthen the management in the Capital Group Mex Polska. Our goal is not only efficient development of the PIZZANOVA brand, but also sharing knowledge and operational standards and increasing the competitiveness of our offer. – says Paweł Kowalewski, the president of Mex Polska SA.
PIZZANOVA is a modern pizzeria concept, based on an innovative approach to ingredients and preparation of dishes. The brand offers various dough options (classic, multigrain, gluten-free) and free selection of additions by pizzeria guests, as well as ready, original flavour compositions. The brand, successfully operating since 2020 on Piotrkowska Street in Łódź, will now be developed throughout Poland by subsidiaries of Mex Polska S.A.
Under the concluded agreement, the initiator of the concept will actively support its expansion, being responsible for transferring the necessary operational knowledge – from guidelines regarding arrangement and management of premises, through personnel training, to ensuring the quality of service and offer in the newly opened PIZZANOVA branches.
The agreement obliges the initiator of the concept to cooperate closely in opening new premises, with a plan to launch at least three within 18 months of its conclusion, financed by the funds of the Mex Polska Group.
Significantly, Mex Polska S.A. has secured exclusivity for the use of the PIZZANOVA trademark and concept in new locations. – After achieving our development goals, we have secured the purchase of rights to the PIZZANOVA brand, which will allow us to increase the range of the Group’s locations, reaching new consumer groups and markets – adds Dariusz Kowalik, board member and CFO of Mex Polska S.A.
This cooperation is in line with the long-term development strategy of Mex Polska S.A., confirming the Group’s readiness for dynamic development and further enriching the gastronomic offer with unique concepts that respond to changing market needs and customer preferences.
