Focus, a company from MCI Capital’s portfolio, is acquiring 100% of shares in Systell, its main competitor till now. This will strengthen Focus’s position as a leader in the field of contact center software in Poland. The acquisition will also contribute to a major increase in the company’s scale of operations as the largest provider of modern solutions in the Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) model in our market.

MCI Capital, which specializes in investing in new technology companies in Central Europe, announces the takeover of Systell by Focus, a company in the MCI.EuroVentures portfolio. The acquisition is part of the implementation of a buy&build strategy, allowing for a significant increase in the scale of operations.

Let’s remind that in December 2023 MCI.EuroVentures allotted PLN 80.1 million for a majority stake in Focus, thereby strengthening its position as the leading investor in the region in technology companies operating in the Software as a Service (SaaS) model.

“For years, Focus has been developing at an impressive pace while maintaining high profitability, and the merger with Systell is another step towards implementing our ambitious development plans,” says Paweł Sikorski, investment partner at MCI Capital. “The takeover of Systell allows for a significant increase in the number of clients, strengthening the market position of Focus”, adds Sikorski.

Focus’s tools are used by both medium and large entities that have an organized customer service process. These solutions help to improve sales and after-sales service processes and significantly increase customer satisfaction.
