Łukasz Dębski is set to return to the board of Big Cheese Studio S.A., a Łódź-based game development studio known for its success with its game Cooking Simulator. Dębski had been a collaborator with BCS since 2018, playing a crucial role in overseeing the creation and development of Cooking Simulator. In 2021, he held the position of Board President, leading the company through significant milestones, including its entrance into the main GPW market in Warsaw. Following today’s announced change, the studio board consists of Łukasz Dębski, who has reassumed the role of CEO, and Łukasz Robert Włodarczyk, co-founder of Silk Road Games S.A., which bought over 41% of BCS shares in August.
“The change of ownership in BCS prompted me to apply for my return. This company is and has always been extremely important to me. I am delighted to have come back to its structure after many months away from BCS, and as CEO, I can work towards its future successes once again. Together with the team I’ve been working with since 2018, we have achieved success by creating the best-selling hit, Cooking Simulator. I am convinced the best is yet to come. I believe my extensive experience in the gaming industry will positively contribute to the further development of the company. I plan to strengthen BCS’s position not only in the Polish market, but also in the international one. Several weeks of re-induction into the company’s structures are ahead of me, after which we will present a more detailed development plan for BCS” says Łukasz Dębski, CEO of Big Cheese Studio S.A.
