InPost Group has opened a new, largest logistics center in Poland, located in Wola Bykowska – near Warsaw and Łódź. Currently, InPost is the second largest operator in terms of warehousing and logistics space in Poland.
-“In 2016, we opened a sorting center in Wola Bykowska, with the assumption that it would be in use for a decade. However, the pace at which InPost Group has been developing has surpassed our wildest expectations. Last year, we decided to build another, twice as large, logistics center in Wola Bykowska, in order to meet the growing demand for the most modern logistics services in Poland. The newly established facility is the newest and largest logistics center in Poland. Our customers greatly appreciate our services for their speed and convenience. The expansion of our logistics centers allows us to strengthen our competitive advantages, as well as maintain operational efficiency. The quality of our logistics in Poland sets standards that we implement on all 9 European markets where we currently operate. In Western Europe, the D+1 standard has so far been treated as a premium service, but InPost Group has revolutionized this, which makes us a leader throughout Europe”- said Rafał Brzoska, founder and CEO of InPost.
The new center has 4 courier canopies dedicated to 120 couriers. The building is BREEAM EXCELLENT certified, it has a photovoltaic system with a power of 200 kWh which can be expanded to 1 MW3, as well as bicycle charging system, AI in CCTV, car chargers, hybrid heating, heat pumps, and radiant heaters.
InPost operates 71 branches across Poland, and this year opened new branches in Kielce, Radom, Jelenia Góra, Ciechanów, and Ruda Śląska.
Currently, InPost Group has nearly 1,300 electric vehicles and is investing in the development of an electric vehicle charging station network across Poland. At the moment, the Group is the leader in the number of private charging points, owning over 700 of them.
