The InPost Group is expanding its infrastructure in Europe. As of the end of August 2024, it had over 78,000 out-of-home points, including nearly 43,000 Paczkomat® devices and almost 35,000 PUDO points across nine European markets. The InPost network in the UK has already exceeded 8,000 Paczkomat® machines; this is the fastest-growing market and key to the company’s growth and expansion strategy. In France, the Group is also the leader in terms of the number of machines; the number has increased by 50% in just one year and further development stages of the network will be implemented in cooperation with Carrefour. On the Iberian Peninsula, InPost is the operator with the largest delivery network with its own points.
“We’re developing very intensively in all European markets. At the end of the second quarter, we increased our Paczkomat® device network by 29% year on year, and the number of PUDO points grew by 17%. Overall, our European network – including Poland – already includes almost 43,000 Paczkomat® devices. This means that we’re the European leader in this sector and increasingly we’re outperforming the competition in terms of network density, logistics efficiency, and services for customers tailored to the demands of online consumers. We’re seeing tangible results from these actions as well as strong increases in revenue, profitability, and volumes of handled parcels in all countries – they’re higher than the dynamism of the e-commerce market in a given market. We currently offer international deliveries between Spain and Italy, and we’ll soon expand this option to other markets. This year marks a gigantic development of the InPost Group in Europe, and I’m sure we haven’t said the last word on this matter,” said Rafał Brzoska, founder and CEO of InPost.
In Poland, the InPost network includes nearly 24,000 Paczkomat® machines, and in the UK there are already 8,000 machines. Mondial Relay has 6,000 Paczkomat® devices in France and over 200 machines in Benelux countries. On the Iberian Peninsula, there are 1,700 Paczkomat® devices operating, and in Italy, there are already 2,700 devices. InPost offers international deliveries within the market between France and Italy, Spain, Portugal, and the Benelux countries as well as between Spain and Italy.
