Columbus Energy has completed the first tranche of the sale of photovoltaic farm projects to the GoldenPeaks Capital Group. The total capacity of the projects is 6.25 MW.

In accordance with the preliminary agreement signed in May this year between companies from the Columbus Energy Group and Nyx Renewable Energy Sp. z o.o. (part of the GoldenPeaks Capital Group), today the first tranche of farm project sales was finalized. These projects, located in seven special purpose entities from the Columbus Group, have a transaction value of 1 million euros and a total capacity of 6.25 MW.

“The sale of part of our assets to a company from the GoldenPeaks Capital Group involves farm projects with grid connection conditions and valid building permits, known as ‘ready to build’ (RtB), developed by Columbus Group’s Development Team. We will allocate the capital return from this investment, among other things, to the development of Columbus’s ongoing activities, including the implementation of services under the Clean Air program,” commented Dawid Zieliński, President of Columbus Energy S.A.

It should be noted that today’s transaction is the first phase of implementing the agreement signed by both parties in May this year, regarding the sale of 30 farm projects by Columbus Energy, developed through 19 subsidiaries of the Group, with a total capacity of 28.077 MW. All transactions for the sale of shares in these companies are expected to be completed by the end of 2024.

GoldenPeaks Capital specializes in the construction and operation of photovoltaic systems. The group is one of the largest owners of photovoltaic systems in Poland and Hungary, with over 15 years of experience in structuring energy projects worldwide, with a total capacity of over 6,000 MW.
