COMPANIESAsseco records revenue and profit growth in the first half of 2024

In H1 2024, the Asseco Group generated revenues of PLN 8.4 billion from sales, of which over PLN 6.6 billion was from the sale of its own IT products and services. The operating profit was 4% higher than in the comparable period of 2023 and amounted to PLN 824 million, while the net profit attributed to the shareholders of the dominant entity, after an increase of 2%, amounted to PLN 235 million. The Group continued stable growth and consistently built a backlog for the following months.

In the reporting period, the Group expanded its activities in Poland and abroad. Sales revenues in the Asseco Poland segment increased by 2% and amounted to PLN 992 million, mainly thanks to growing sales in the area of financial solutions and solutions for public institutions.

The group’s results are highly diversified – 88% of sales come from foreign markets represented by the Formula Systems and Asseco International segments. Sales in the Asseco International segment amounted to PLN 1.96 billion, which – excluding the effect of exchange rate differences – represents an increase of 8% compared to H1 2023. An increase in sales in the payment area in the Asseco South Eastern Europe Group was noted in this segment. Revenues from ERP solutions in the Asseco Enterprise Solutions Group also increased. Meanwhile, the Formula Systems segment recorded revenues of PLN 5.47 billion – excluding the effect of exchange rate differences, this is an increase of 6% compared to the same period last year. Good results, in reporting currencies, were recorded by Matrix IT and Sapiens International.

Asseco’s consolidated order portfolio for 2024, in the area of own software and services, is currently valued at PLN 12.4 billion. At constant exchange rates, at which the backlog for 2023 was converted, it is 7% higher than in the same period last year.

“This has been a very good half year for Asseco. Our geographical, product and industry business diversification, as well as strong demand for digital solutions, allow us to continue to grow. Excluding the effect of exchange rate changes, our revenues increased by 6% during this period and the operating profit by 11%. In addition, we are consistently building a backlog, which allows us to look optimistically at H2 2024. We are consistently implementing our strategy in the area of M&A. Since the beginning of 2024, 7 companies (3 in H1 and 4 in Q3 2024) have joined the Group, operating in markets such as: Israeli, American, Portuguese, as well as in India and the United Arab Emirates” – said Karolina Rzońca-Bajorek, Vice President of the Board, CFO Asseco Poland.
