Andrzej Zajdziński has joined the board of B-Act, an engineering company specializing in consultancy and supervision of building investments. The new board member possesses many years of competencies in the supervision of construction teams, and has overseen projects worth over 1.7 billion PLN. His specialization lies in the field of civil engineering. The strengthening of B-Act is another step towards competence in strategic land projects, especially those linked to the Polish defense industry and abroad. The company’s backlog as of August 7 exceeds 102 million PLN.

Andrzej Zajdziński holds a master’s degree in civil engineering and has overseen construction projects for industries such as transportation, rail, hospitality, and medical for 39 years. In the company, he will serve as a board member and will be responsible for investments related to defense. The total value of contracts executed by Andrzej Zajdziński exceeds 1.7 billion PLN.

Today, strategic projects are a complete ecosystem that focuses on building critical infrastructure, expanding defense competencies, new transport routes, and also modernizing hospitals, railway lines. The company sees the growing potential in the defense sector. It currently has three contracts for work on the construction of a multi-purpose airport together with a military fire station in Mirosławiec, renovation, and modernization of the airport in Świdwin – one of the most important undertakings implemented by the Air Force. In 2023, Poland allocated the highest percentage of GDP for defense of all NATO member countries. Military expenditures were 75% higher than in 2022. This year, Poland plans to allocate 118 billion PLN for defense, accounting for 3.1% of annual GDP.
B-Act, this year so far, has generated 8 million PLN in sales revenue, which signifies a 30% increase year-on-year. EBITDA and net profit amounted to 824 thousand PLN and 582 thousand PLN, representing a decrease of 14% and 15% respectively compared to the same period in the previous year. The value of all contracts signed by the company is 154 million PLN, with 102 million PLN yet to be invoiced. Since the beginning of the year, B-Act signed eight contracts to implement new projects, which could generate revenue of over 50 million PLN.
