Ailleron has reached an agreement with Bank Pekao SA to settle mutual relations arising from Ailleron’s declaration of contract termination, the company announced in a statement. Based on the agreement, the parties have decided to terminate the legal relationship resulting from the contract and the orders placed under it.
It was stated that the agreement was concluded to settle the relations between the company and the bank that arose due to Ailleron’s declaration of termination of the contract concerning the implementation, launch, licensing, and provision of maintenance and development services for the online corporate banking platform in online and mobile banking (implementation, license, development, service) and the orders placed under it.
“Based on the agreement, Ailleron and the bank have decided to terminate the legal relationship resulting from the contract and the orders placed under it, and have defined the terms for the amicable resolution of the dispute,” the statement read.
“Under the agreement, Ailleron transfers the economic copyrights to the products of the work performed under the contract and agreement to the bank for a fee. At the same time, Ailleron and the bank have waived all claims regarding the contract, including those covered by the lawsuit filed by Ailleron against the bank before the District Court in Warsaw for the payment of approximately PLN 44.2 million, and have agreed on the way to conclude the aforementioned lawsuit through a mediation settlement,” it added.
It was stated that the gross value of the agreement amounts to approximately PLN 9.6 million, of which a gross amount of approximately PLN 4.8 million will be payable to Ailleron within 7 days after the agreement is concluded.
