The second edition of the Ailleron Innovation Forum (#AIF24) will take place from 11-12 September 2024 in Krakow. Once again, experts from the financial industry, specialists, and observers of digital changes will discuss technological solutions and challenges of digital transformation. The #AIF24 agenda will cover topics related to AI banking, including generative AI services and data analytics. There will be plenty to discuss as, according to the analysis of the European Central Bank, as many as 61% of banks have declared a budget for digital transformation. Interestingly, the amount allocated to this area is increasing. While in 2022, banks allocated an average of 3% of operating income to transformation, in 2024 this will already be 7.9%. The stage in Krakow will also present market analyses prepared by the international research center Forrester and practical case studies and experiences of leading banks (ING Bank Śląski, BNP Paribas,) as well as financial and leasing institutions, including the European Leasing Fund.
– We currently dedicate a lot of attention to our Ailleron Innovation Forum. We want it to exceed the expectations of our customers, business partners, and tech partners. Just like last year, we have taken care of highly topical issues in our industry and top speakers. The experiences from last year also guarantee very effective and successful networking, in the comfortable space of Manggha and during the accompanying attractions or evening party. We warmly invite all those who want to focus on shaping the strategic direction of their organization in the era of AI and digital revolution, says Piotr Piątosa, Vice President of the Board, COO Ailleron.
The Ailleron Innovation Forum will last for two days from 11 to 12 September 2024. On the first day, the organizer invites registered participants to the main headquarters of the Ailleron company in Krakow, where they will focus on workshops related to the generative AI services, no-code software, digitization of sales processes in leasing and data management in organizations. The conference day (12.09) at the Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology in Krakow will cover panels and presentations focusing on the latest trends in AI services, no-code software, availability of digital solutions for users and building their engagement. The stage will also present market analyses prepared by the international research center Forrester and practical case studies and experiences of leading banks (ING Bank Śląski, BNP Paribas,) as well as financial and leasing institutions, for instance, the European Leasing Fund. #AIF24 will also host an international group of speakers, which will surely attract AI experts and enthusiasts from different European countries.
– GenAI technology has become a hit and has almost completely captured the attention of technology leaders. At the Ailleron Innovation Forum, we will talk, among others, about how to balance the interest in GenAI with other innovations shaping the current market – says Rafał Rząd, Account Director Poland for Forrester.
As it turns out, digital transformation can change the interaction of customers with banking services. The European Banking Federation (EBF) emphasizes that AI will improve the efficiency of banking processes, such as credit scoring, and will impact control and safety of systems. On the other hand, in Poland, according to the report of the Association of Polish Banks, AI is mainly used for data analysis, risk modeling, and machine learning. Banks that invested in AI in the years 2018-2022 increased their revenues by an average of 34%, which could double the GDP ratio by 2035 and increase productivity by 40%, with savings in the order of 20-25%. The entire banking sector is facing many changes, as noted by KPMG International in their 2024 Banking trends report. In 2024, we can expect several key trends. Primarily, macro- and microeconomic challenges have an impact on the entire growth environment. Investments in digital transformation will continue to improve customer service quality and modernize technological platforms. However, this sector is also experiencing an unprecedented intensity of regulation, which significantly affects the entire financial services industry.
– Banks worldwide are heavily investing in digitization and AI implementation, despite the pressure for cost reduction. New regulations in Europe, such as the Digital Market Act and AI Act, introduce additional challenges and costs that may delay the implementation of new technologies. Despite these obstacles, AI has huge potential to increase productivity and improve efficiency in the financial sector (banking, leasing, insurance). Technology is already transforming the entire sector today. We hope that the Ailleron Innovation Forum 2024 will allow us all to have a glimpse of the future! – announces Michał Walerowski, Business Unit Director AI/ML & Data Solutions at Ailleron.
The event is free of charge, but registration on the event website is mandatory due to the limited number of places. #AIF24 is a space where new technological services will meet visionary digital transformation and a truly human approach.
