In the third quarter of this year, the leading hotel group worldwide recorded a revenue of €1.434 billion, achieving a 12% increase compared to the same period last year. Continuing its stable growth, the network forecasts an EBITDA for 2024 between €1.100 billion and €1.125 billion.
In the last quarter, Accor experienced solid sales growth in line with the set forecasts across both brand divisions, along with a stabilization of the RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room) rate. The group’s revenues reached €1.434 billion, representing a 12% increase compared to Q3 2023.
The strong performance of the entire group in the third quarter of this year was particularly driven by the growth of luxury and lifestyle brands, an increase in high-potential hotel markets, and partnerships with the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, emphasized Sébastien Bazin, Chairman and CEO of Accor. “With a combination of operational flexibility, service quality, and financial discipline, we are confident that our adopted strategy and stable financial model will translate into significant growth in results for 2024.”
In the third quarter of this year, Accor opened 47 hotels, offering 8,000 rooms, which translates to a 3.2% increase in its network over the past 12 months. By the end of September 2024, the group’s portfolio included 5,638 hotels (838,826 rooms) and 1,380 hotels (with 231,000 rooms) scheduled to open in the coming years.
