XTB has begun rolling out an AI-powered analytical chat feature in its mobile application. The tool is designed to answer questions about financial markets, support portfolio analysis and make it easier for users to compare different assets. The feature has initially been made available to clients in Chile.

According to information released by the company, the assistant will be available around the clock. Its responses will be based on market data supplied by LSEG, which also owns Reuters.

The new feature has been integrated directly into XTB’s investment application. This will allow it to take into account information about a user’s portfolio and the way they use the platform.

XTB says the tool will be able to present information tailored to factors such as the investor’s level of experience, declared approach to risk and preferred style of capital management.

AI is intended to make financial information more accessible

XTB presents the new solution as another element of the educational and analytical offering it has been developing for several years. The company currently provides webinars, market commentary, analyses and investment courses.

According to XTB, one of the reasons for developing the chat feature was the difficulty many new investors face when searching for and interpreting financial information independently.

“One of the greatest concerns among new investors beginning to manage their own finances is a lack of sufficient knowledge. That is why education and building financial awareness are extremely important to us,” said Omar Arnaout, CEO of XTB.

According to the company’s representative, the tool is intended to help users find information suited to their interests and level of experience. However, investors will remain responsible for making their own final trading decisions.

The rollout begins outside Europe

Chile is the first country in which XTB has introduced its AI analytical chat. The company has not provided a detailed timetable for expanding the feature to additional markets.

Once the rollout in Chile has been completed, the solution is expected to be introduced gradually in other countries. During the initial phase, XTB intends to focus primarily on markets outside Europe.

The company has not yet announced when the assistant could become available to clients in Poland or elsewhere in the European Union.

The introduction of artificial intelligence tools by investment platforms forms part of a broader trend toward automating access to financial data.

Systems of this kind may reduce the time required to search for information and compare financial instruments. However, the quality of their responses depends on the underlying data, the analytical model used and the way the system interprets users’ questions.

XTB has not disclosed how many clients in Chile have already gained access to the assistant or when the first stage of testing is expected to be completed.
