According to a new analysis by No Fluff Jobs, while Warsaw offers the most job postings for on-site and hybrid positions, the highest salaries can be found in Kraków and Opole. The median upper salary range in these cities reaches PLN 30,200 net (+VAT) on B2B contracts. For entry-level candidates, the best-paying city is Łódź, while professionals with mid-level experience earn the most in Katowice. In the third quarter of 2025, Polish cities published 40% more hybrid job offers than fully on-site ones.
Kraków and Opole Offer the Highest Pay
Despite the dominance of Warsaw in terms of job availability, the capital is no longer where candidates earn the most. The highest median top salary levels—up to PLN 30,200 net (+VAT) on B2B contracts—are currently available for senior professionals in Kraków and Opole, according to the latest No Fluff Jobs report.
No Fluff Jobs, a Polish recruitment platform known for publishing job offers with transparent salary ranges, has been operating for 11 years, helping candidates find positions that match their financial expectations.
Where Do Professionals Earn the Most in Poland?
For junior-level employees, Łódź offers the most attractive pay, with a median top salary of PLN 10,000 net (+VAT) on B2B contracts. Mid-level professionals earn the most in Katowice, where the median top range reaches PLN 27,000 net (+VAT).
In contrast, salaries under employment contracts (UoP) are lower and less differentiated between cities. In Warsaw, junior employees can expect the highest salaries in Poland on employment contracts—a median of PLN 8,000 gross, while senior professionals can earn up to PLN 24,000 gross. For mid-level employees, Kraków takes the lead with PLN 16,000 gross.
“When we analyze salaries across major Polish cities, it’s clear that attractive pay is no longer limited to Kraków and Warsaw. Depending on experience level, job type, and work mode, cities like Katowice, Łódź, and Opole are also emerging as top-paying locations,” said Paulina Król, Chief People and Operations Officer at No Fluff Jobs.
“Interestingly, the work mode—on-site, hybrid, or remote—does not determine salary levels. Although remote roles often feature high pay, they are comparable to salaries offered for on-site and hybrid jobs in specific locations. Factors such as a company’s compensation policy, industry, or contract type can make the biggest difference,” she added.
On-Site vs. Hybrid: No Major Pay Gap
Across Poland, there is no significant difference in salaries between on-site and hybrid work modes.
- On B2B contracts, the highest median top salaries reach PLN 30,200 net (+VAT) for on-site roles (in Kraków) and PLN 30,700 net (+VAT) for hybrid positions (also in Kraków).
- On employment contracts, the top medians are PLN 25,000 gross for on-site roles (Kraków) and PLN 24,000 gross for hybrid positions (Warsaw).
Fewer Remote Offers – and Lower Pay
Fully remote work opportunities appeared nearly twice as rarely as hybrid or on-site options in the third quarter of 2025. Remote roles also offer lower pay:
- PLN 27,000 net (+VAT) median top salary on B2B contracts, and
- up to PLN 22,500 gross under employment contracts.
The preference for hybrid work continues to dominate. In the analyzed cities, there were about 40% more hybrid job offers than on-site ones. Interestingly, Łódź was the only city where the number of fully on-site job postings exceeded those offering a hybrid work model.
