Wonderful has raised $550 million in a Series C funding round that values the enterprise AI company at $5 billion. The round was led by Insight Partners, with Salesforce among the new investors and existing backers including Index Ventures, IVP, Vine Ventures and 9Yards.
The company develops a platform for deploying AI agents and applications inside large organisations. The new capital is expected to support product development and international expansion as companies increase spending on AI systems capable of handling operational tasks.
Investors continue to back enterprise AI
Large funding rounds for AI companies have increasingly shifted from model development alone toward infrastructure and applications that can be integrated into existing business processes. Enterprises are looking for tools that connect AI with internal data, workflows and software systems while meeting security and governance requirements.
Wonderful is positioning its platform as an orchestration layer for organisations that want to deploy multiple AI agents rather than isolated assistants. The company’s valuation reflects investor expectations that agent-based software will become an important category of enterprise technology.
AI agents become the next software battleground
Competition is intensifying as major cloud and software companies build their own agent platforms and invest in specialised startups. The participation of Salesforce is particularly notable given its growing focus on Agentforce and AI-enabled enterprise workflows.
The $550 million round gives Wonderful substantial resources to compete in a market where scale, integration capabilities and access to corporate customers may become as important as the underlying AI models.
