In light of the announced merger between Westcoast and ALSO, KOMSA Poland clarifies that this transaction does not affect its operations. The company remains part of the KOMSA AG group and will continue to operate independently in the Polish market as an ICT distributor, following its existing strategy and business model.
Westcoast, one of the leading IT distributors in Europe, has announced the completion of its merger with ALSO by February 28, 2025, subject to obtaining all necessary regulatory approvals, including unconditional clearance from the European Commission. This transaction encompasses key markets where Westcoast operates. However, it does not include companies within the Westcoast group, such as KOMSA AG, KOMSA Poland, WAM, or SSP. These entities will remain under their existing management and continue operations independently of the merger. The announced merger and its effects will primarily impact markets in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and France.
