CAREERSWage growth in Poland remains elevated — September data in line with expectations

In September 2025, the average salary in the Polish enterprise sector increased by 7.5% year-on-year, in line with market expectations. The average gross monthly wage reached PLN 8,750.34.

Although wage growth is gradually slowing, it remains elevated, which continues to fuel higher inflation in services relative to goods. The Monetary Policy Council (RPP) consistently identifies wage dynamics as one of the key risk factors for the future inflation path.

The published figures cover companies employing at least 10 people, excluding public sector entities such as administration, education, healthcare and social assistance.
