The Polish Council of Shopping Centres (PRCH) has released data on turnover and footfall in shopping centres for September 2025. Compared to the same month last year, turnover increased by 4.7%, accompanied by a 2.8% rise in footfall.

Since April this year, turnover in shopping centres has been growing continuously on a year-on-year basis. September continued this upward trend, with turnover 4.7% higher than the previous year. Footfall also moved up by 2.8%.

The highest turnover increases were recorded in the following categories:

  • Entertainment (+18.9%)
  • Services (+16.0%)
  • Restaurants and cafés (+8.4%)
  • Health and beauty (+7.7%)
  • Fashion and accessories (+6.1%)

Turnover and footfall by shopping centre size were as follows:

Regionally, the highest turnover growth was recorded in metropolitan areas such as Kraków, Wrocław, and Katowice. On a macro-regional scale, the southern, central, and south-western regions led the way.


PRCH Turnover Density Index – Established in 2008, it is the largest index of shopping centre turnover in Poland. It is based on data from properties with a combined area exceeding 5 million square meters, representing 37% of the market. The index includes data submitted directly by tenants, which are then anonymized and processed by property managers into the system managed entirely by GfK – An NIQ Company.
