Trans Polonia (TPG), a logistics and transportation operator listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, has announced its financial results for the first nine months of 2024. The company reported revenues of 169 million PLN from sales, marking a 9.5% increase year-on-year. A significant improvement in the Group’s operating results was recorded in the third quarter of this year, with an EBITDA of 7.9 million PLN increasing compared to the same period last year.

In Q3, Trans Polonia increased its liquid chemical transportation by 14% year-on-year. Total revenue from the sale of liquid chemical services is around 119 million PLN and accounts for 71% of total revenue.

“In Q3 2024 we see a noticeable rebound compared to the first six months of the year. We achieved these results thanks to numerous business activities with our current clients and constant work on acquiring new ones, mainly abroad but also in Poland. The success of these activities means that operational costs, such as toll fees or labor costs, which increased in the first half of the year, are no longer as burdensome. I think we can look ahead to the next few months optimistically,” commented Krzysztof Luks, Vice President for Financial Affairs at Trans Polonia S.A.

Over the past three months, the TPG Group has actively explored market prospects both in Europe and in new directions. The Group’s management has focused on the development and stabilization of the business, thus numerous discussions were held in both neighboring countries and more distant ones, such as Spain or France. Additionally, the development of the intermodal transportation segment in response to the needs of Western clients has expanded the Group’s competencies and operational capabilities.

“Customer diversification is the foundation of our existence in these uncertain times. The past months have cost us a lot of work, but today we see its positive effects – both in financial results and in strengthening our position in the European market. Better results in Q3 2024 lead me to believe that the difficulties the company faced at the beginning of the year were temporary and that the coming year will be much better than the current one,” concludes Dariusz Cegielski, President of Trans Polonia S.A.
