Poland is not Europe’s most heavily targeted country, but the cyber threat is clearly intensifying. Organisations in the country face an average of 1,854 cyberattacks per week, while government institutions are already repelling around 3,400 attacks every week. Over the past year, the number of attacks in Poland has increased by 15%. Check Point Research warns that ransomware and the growing use of artificial intelligence by cybercriminals are becoming particularly serious threats.
