Spiros Filippas has been appointed as the President of the Management Board of BMW Financial Services Polska and Alphabet Polska, companies within the BMW Group that provide vehicle financing services for corporate and individual clients.
Since May 1, 2025, Spiros Filippas has taken over as CEO of these two companies in the Polish BMW Group organization—BMW Financial Services Polska and Alphabet Polska. He succeeded George Belsis, who previously held the position.
Spiros Filippas is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience in the automotive and financial industries. He has previously held CEO positions within the BMW Group—initially as CEO of BMW Financial Services, and later as President and CEO of the BMW Group in Greece. Over the past decade, he has served as regional CEO at BMW Financial Services, first in the Middle East and then in Mexico and Latin America.
“The Polish market has been developing dynamically for years, making it very important and promising for the BMW Group. Our ambition is to combine top-quality services with modern technological and digital solutions, all to meet the expectations of our current and future customers. Our Fleet Reporting tool, which uses artificial intelligence and is offered to companies, has already made a significant impact on industry standards by optimizing fleet operations and increasing efficiency through smarter, faster, and more effective navigation of complex and large data sets. Soon, with the introduction of a new tool for accounting, monitoring, and reducing carbon dioxide emissions—Alphabet Carbon Manager—we will provide our clients with a structured approach to fleet electrification, while facilitating more sustainable decision-making and ultimately helping them reduce CO2 emissions. I look forward to further developing the business in Poland, strengthening our strong presence in both individual and corporate customer segments,” says Spiros Filippas.
