COMPANIESSeptember 17: Last Day to Buy MCI Capital Shares with Rights to Record Dividend

Wednesday, September 17, is the last day to purchase MCI Capital shares with the right to the company’s highest dividend in its history. Eligible shareholders will receive PLN 1.61 per share, with a total payout of PLN 84.5 million. This represents a dividend yield of 5.3%. The dividend date is set for September 19. The payout is in line with MCI’s dividend policy for 2025–2027, which assumes regular and predictable profit sharing with shareholders.

At the Annual General Meeting held on June 26, shareholders approved the distribution of PLN 84.5 million, equivalent to 4% of the company’s equity. The dividend will be financed from the net profit generated in 2024, supplemented by funds from retained earnings.

“This year’s dividend yield of 5.3% is a record and very attractive for investors. We have completed several significant exits this year, including from Answear.com, and we are finalizing the sale of our stake in the IAI Group. The total value of exits this year already exceeds PLN 670 million. We aim to regularly share the profits generated from investments with our shareholders,” commented Tomasz Czechowicz, Managing Partner at MCI Capital.

MCI Capital emphasizes that 2025 may be the best year in the company’s history in terms of exit transaction value. The management board expects further exits, with total proceeds of around PLN 1 billion planned for 2025–2027. The combined normalized EBITDA of portfolio companies in 2024 amounted to PLN 560 million, highlighting the scale and quality of the fund’s assets.

“Our strong liquidity position and diversified portfolio of attractive technology companies allow us to remain positive about the fund’s value creation potential. While we will continue to share profits with investors, most of the earnings will be reinvested to boost long-term returns. We have a robust pipeline of new projects and plan to make two new investments in the coming quarters,” added Paweł Borys, Managing Partner at MCI Capital.

The board notes that current market conditions favor the acquisition of attractive companies and present opportunities to strengthen the value of the investment portfolio.
