COMPANIESSatRev (Sky Vision) Signs Two Strategic Memoranda in Oman, Expanding into Integrated Satellite-Drone Systems

SatRev S.A. has signed two new memoranda in Oman to expand its ongoing cooperation with ETCO SPACE and establish a new partnership with the Ibn Farnas Drone Center. The agreements outline new directions for joint work, including the development of integrated satellite and drone systems, advanced data analytics, and knowledge transfer initiatives. They also open new avenues for the company in the defence and dual-use technology sectors.

SatRev S.A., which is currently rebranding to Sky Vision, is a Polish company developing sovereign space technologies and preparing for a debut on the NewConnect market. It is considered one of the most dynamically growing NewSpace players in the region, building independent space solutions and developing competencies that allow it to carry out increasingly large-scale and strategically important missions. The agreements, signed in Muscat, coincide with today’s scheduled launch of the PW6U satellite on SpaceX’s Transporter-15 mission, which also carries the Polish satellites PIAST and ICEYE.

The memorandum signed with ETCO continues a successful collaboration that previously included launching an Omani satellite, providing orbital operations, and building a ground station in Oman. The new agreement concerns cooperation on an integrated satellite-drone system that combines data acquisition, advanced analytics and operational management within a unified environment. It also includes knowledge-transfer and capacity-building programmes aligned with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040. As a key technology partner of the Sultanate, ETCO SPACE works with the Omani space agency NASCOM and the developing ETLAQ spaceport, giving SatRev access to future large-scale initiatives.

The tripartite memorandum between SatRev, ETCO SPACE and the Ibn Farnas Drone Center focuses on developing and implementing integrated analytics combining satellite and drone data. The cooperation also covers the creation of advanced analytical products, operational applications for priority sectors, and specialised training programmes in space technologies and unmanned systems. Ibn Farnas Drone Center is a leading UAV institution in Oman, known for its expertise in training and operational services, further broadening the scope of potential joint projects.

These agreements establish an important framework for continued cooperation and strengthen SatRev’s presence in the Gulf region.

“We are pleased to sign both memoranda, as they open new development opportunities and reinforce our position in the region. They also confirm that our cooperation with Oman—especially with ETCO—has been successful, bringing tangible results, from the satellite launch and its operational management to building a ground station. We can now expand this partnership further, combining SatRev’s satellite expertise with the growing importance of drone technologies and advanced data analytics. I am convinced that together we will achieve new ambitious goals,” said Dr Daniel Więzik, CEO of the company.

SatRev is the only fully Polish company currently operating its own satellite in orbit. The BlueBON satellite, which has been in service for more than a year, has already delivered imagery covering an area equivalent to half the surface of Poland—an exceptional demonstration of the company’s technological and operational capabilities. SatRev continues to develop its own ground infrastructure, satellite subsystems and mission control centre, while expanding its satellite portfolio.

The signed memoranda align with SatRev’s strategic development in Earth observation, data analytics, and dual-use technologies. The company is broadening its product offering for public administration, security sectors, critical infrastructure and environmental monitoring. At the same time, it is undergoing a rebranding to Sky Vision, strengthening its position as a provider of sovereign satellite technologies, and preparing to enter the NewConnect market.
