SatRev, a Wrocław-based new-space company from the portfolio of Warsaw Stock Exchange-listed JRH ASI S.A., has obtained the status of Airbus Platinum Reseller, becoming the first partner of this class in Central Europe. The agreement covers the resale and distribution of satellite data from Airbus Defence and Space. Access to Airbus’s full data portfolio complements the information obtained by SatRev through its own missions and expands the range of data available within advanced analytical services, including data used in the company’s artificial intelligence-based solutions.

Under the agreement, SatRev has become the first Airbus Platinum Reseller in Central Europe. Platinum Reseller status is the highest level of cooperation within Airbus’s partner network. Thanks to the agreement, the company has gained access to Airbus’s geospatial data portfolio, including very-high-resolution optical imagery from 1.5 m down to 0.3 m GSD, as well as multispectral data. Combined with its own satellite imagery and SAR radar data, this enables SatRev to offer clients a full spectrum of Earth observation data and to sell, distribute and deliver comprehensive analytical products based on them.

Airbus Defence and Space is one of the world’s largest providers of satellite data. Its portfolio includes both optical and radar imagery, as well as archival data and new acquisitions carried out on individual customer orders. These data are used by public administration bodies and entities from the infrastructure, energy, environmental protection and security sectors.

“We are pleased to expand our partner network with SatRev, a company with established competences in the Earth observation and data analytics market. The Central European market has significant potential, and cooperation with a local partner, one of the leaders of the new-space segment in the region, means strengthening our presence in CEE. SatRev has competences covering the entire value chain of the space sector — from the construction of small satellites, through space operations, to data analytics and downstream services — which makes it possible to better respond to customer needs,” said Patryk Jaskuła, Regional Geospatial Sales Manager at Airbus Defence and Space.

Obtaining Platinum Reseller status is part of SatRev’s development strategy as a company that not only designs, manufactures and operates satellites, but also delivers advanced products based on Earth observation data. The company will combine the imaging capabilities of its own satellites, which provide optical data with resolutions from 5.0 m to 1.5 m GSD, with access to Airbus’s portfolio and its existing and continuously developed analytical competences and artificial intelligence-based solutions.

This will allow SatRev to carry out more advanced projects for clients from demanding sectors such as critical infrastructure, energy and security, using information from various sources and Earth observation technologies. Today, the growing importance lies not merely in acquiring satellite imagery, but in delivering ready-made analyses, conclusions and information products that support decision-making processes.

“Obtaining the title of Airbus Platinum Reseller is an important step for us in the development of the Earth observation segment. We are gaining access to one of the broadest satellite data portfolios in the world, which strengthens the competences we have been building for many years in the acquisition, integration and analysis of satellite data. By combining these data with our own, we use them as the basis for improving the products and systems delivered to our clients. Together with the analysis of this imagery, we are creating a complete market offering that gives partners increasingly better decision-making capabilities. Clients can also obtain Airbus data together with the analytical services offered by us,” said Dr Daniel Więzik, CEO of SatRev.

At the same time, SatRev is consistently developing its own technologies and sovereign competences in Earth observation, satellite data analytics, artificial intelligence, the construction of small satellites and its own ground segment.

The company is finalising the launch of another satellite later this year. Its production has already been completed, while further satellite models with imaging resolution increased to 0.8 m are already being developed at SatRev’s headquarters.

Expanding the offering with Airbus data increases the range of projects that SatRev can carry out for current and new clients. Natural areas of application for the company’s solutions include monitoring critical and energy infrastructure, transmission networks, water management, environmental protection, agriculture, spatial planning and security.

SatRev is a Polish technology company based in Wrocław, operating in the space sector since 2016. The company specialises in designing and building small satellites, managing orbital missions, and acquiring and analysing Earth observation data. To date, it has successfully launched more than a dozen satellites for domestic and foreign clients.

The company is one of the pillars of ORBITEO, a holding company organised by JRH ASI S.A., which is intended to become an integrator of Polish defence systems by combining dual-use technologies such as unmanned systems, satellites, robots, detectors and artificial intelligence within a single ecosystem. SatRev is preparing for its debut on NewConnect.
