Takeda Pharma Sp. z o.o. in Poland has appointed Sameh Rafla as the new General Manager. Sameh Rafla brings comprehensive international experience in team building and setting goals and directions focused on patient needs to the organization. Before joining the Polish team, he headed the Transplantation Franchise of Takeda Europe and Canada (EUCAN), where he was responsible for the company’s entry into the transplant domain.

In his extensive professional career, Sameh Rafla managed Takeda’s product portfolio in the EUCAN Rare Metabolic Diseases and Rare Immunology areas, on a global level he was responsible for introducing and developing new products as the Global Head of New Products. Before joining Takeda, he held positions such as Business Unit Director at Nestlé and General Manager responsible for four markets at Galderma.

We are happy to welcome Sameh Rafla to the Takeda team in Poland, ensuring the continued development of the organization and uninterrupted access of patients to our innovative therapies.

The project uses an artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm for faster diagnosis of rare diseases.
