Marcin Sołtysiak, an industry investor, President of ELQ S.A. Group and the Group’s majority shareholder, has completed the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Polenergia Fotowoltaika S.A. The transaction was carried out through an investment vehicle linked to the ELQ S.A. Capital Group.
The acquisition marks an important step in the expansion of Marcin Sołtysiak’s investment activity in the energy sector and in the development of a broader competence base around ELQ Group. It also strengthens the Group’s position in distributed energy, modern renewable energy solutions and energy services for individual, business and institutional clients.
Polenergia Fotowoltaika S.A. brings together market recognition, operational experience, an established team, specialist know-how and an existing customer base. These assets provide a strong platform for further growth under the new ownership structure.
Following the change of ownership, the company continues to operate without disruption. Ongoing projects are being implemented as planned, while customer service remains unchanged. Existing contracts, service arrangements, warranties and obligations toward clients and partners remain in force.
“The acquisition of Polenergia Fotowoltaika is a strategic step toward building a strong and scalable position in distributed energy and modern renewable energy solutions. We are taking over a company with an experienced team, genuine know-how and the trust of its customers — the key foundations on which further growth can be built.
Our ambition is not merely to continue the company’s operations, but to give them new momentum through technological development, a broader service offering, greater operational scale and the use of synergies with the competences gathered around ELQ Group in the power engineering sector. We see this acquisition not as a single transaction, but as part of a wider development strategy in the area of energy transformation. Distributed energy, local energy sources, customer-oriented services and the integration of modern renewable energy solutions will become an increasingly important part of the market. We want to actively participate in this process and build a position in segments that will matter for the future of the Polish energy sector,” said Marcin Sołtysiak, President of ELQ S.A. Group.
The transaction is aligned with Marcin Sołtysiak’s long-term investment strategy, which focuses on developing competences in the power engineering, infrastructure and renewable energy sectors. Its link with the ELQ S.A. Capital Group creates the potential to use the industry, organisational and technical experience built around ELQ Group.
The new owner’s objective is to further strengthen the market position of Polenergia Fotowoltaika S.A., develop the team’s competences, expand operational capabilities and build scale based on sector expertise, organisational resources and a long-term approach to growth.
The next stage will involve a structured process of further development and the identification of potential business synergies. This process will be carried out while maintaining operational continuity, stable customer service and the fulfilment of current obligations.
The acquisition of Polenergia Fotowoltaika S.A. opens a new chapter in the development of distributed energy — a segment expected to play an increasingly important role in the energy transition, the improvement of energy efficiency and the creation of a more resilient, decentralised energy system.
