Purple Ray Studio S.A., the Kraków-based developer of interactive technologies and video games, has signed a letter of intent with Farada Group Sp. z o.o., one of the most innovative Polish companies developing drone systems for both civilian and military use. The document paves the way for cooperation in advanced visualizations, simulations and training tools for unmanned systems and sensors—marking another step for Purple Ray Studio toward expanding its dual-use activities based on its game-industry know-how.
Under the agreement, the two companies express their intention to collaborate on modern visualization and simulation solutions, including 3D drone models, advanced ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) scenarios, interactive presentations of Farada Group’s products and technologies, as well as training tools such as interactive applications. According to the letter of intent, Purple Ray Studio will deliver solutions that showcase the capabilities of Farada’s systems in diverse environments, weather conditions, and through the use of interactive simulation techniques.
Purple Ray Studio S.A. is a Polish technology company originating from the video game industry, specializing in advanced 3D graphics, interactive environments and simulations. The company is known, among others, for the game Boti: Byteland Overclocked and for projects developed for the global market. Experience gained in game development allows the studio to build technologies applicable in industrial, training and defence sectors, creating opportunities to carry out dual-use contracts and projects requiring high-quality interactive solutions. This positions the company to scale naturally into markets with higher technological requirements and to continually expand its portfolio beyond traditional video games.
– “We are pleased to be able to use our experience and technology in the drone sector and support Farada Group in achieving its ambitious goals. Cooperation in visualization and simulation of dual-use products is an opportunity for us to build a new branch of services in which we intend to grow. Our goal is to acquire additional contracts of this nature and continue strengthening these competencies based on technologies developed by Purple Ray Studio,” said Robert Baranowski, CEO of Purple Ray Studio S.A.
In the next stages, the parties plan to sign separate implementation agreements to develop key elements of the cooperation, including demonstrations of how flight parameters affect subsystem performance, simulation of weather conditions, comparison of technological solutions, and preparation of interactive user scenarios.
– “The growing demand for drones is also stimulating specialised pilot-training services. This collaboration opens tremendous opportunities for us in simulating training scenarios, improving the effectiveness of courses, and preparing large groups of pilots in a shorter timeframe,” said Szymon Kupaj, CEO of Farada Group.
Signing the letter of intent with Farada Group comes at a time of rapid growth for the company. The Purple Ray Studio team is currently focused on producing its flagship title Project: Nightmare—a stylised third-person action game with roguelike elements, set in a world plagued by nightmares. The release date has not yet been announced, but it is expected in 2026 or 2027, with the first major milestone being the release of a demo version planned for the first half of next year. The developer continues to provide ongoing technical support for Boti: Byteland Overclocked. The company is also carrying out Work-for-Hire commissions and plans to further expand this area, especially in graphics and animation, as part of a broader revenue diversification strategy.
Purple Ray Studio successfully completed a public share offering, raising more than PLN 3.2 million from investors. The funds are supporting the development of technological projects and the production of new digital products. The company is currently finalizing the process of entering the NewConnect market.
