PTWP Group has published its official financial results for the first half of 2025, which turned out to be the best in the company’s history and exceeded earlier estimates. Revenues reached a record PLN 71.9 million (up 25.3% year-on-year). The results were driven by the Group’s key business areas: online portals, proprietary events, and events organized in the venues it manages.
EBITDA amounted to PLN 20.8 million, representing an increase of 102.5% year-on-year, while net profit reached PLN 16.2 million (+183.9% year-on-year). Both the second quarter and the entire first half were record-breaking. The results confirm the effectiveness of the Group’s development strategy, its strong financial condition, and dynamic organic growth across all core segments.
“When presenting preliminary estimates, we always take a conservative approach, so we are all the more pleased that the final result turned out even better. We are achieving record results both quarterly and half-yearly. Strong revenue growth, record-high EBITDA and net profit clearly show that our strategy is delivering real effects. The dynamic growth of the digital segment, rising attendance at events, and effective venue management are the foundations of these achievements. This proves that we are successfully meeting our goals and scaling up operations, recording 20% year-on-year growth while keeping costs under control. Despite seasonal variations in individual quarters, we look to the coming months with optimism, assuming a continued growth path,” said Wojciech Kuśpik, President of PTWP Group.
Digital Segment – High Margins and Industry Leadership
The Group’s three rapidly developing segments all contributed to the strong results. The digital segment once again achieved very high profitability. PTWP’s online portals are visited by over 30 million unique users monthly, and its subscriber databases have surpassed 300,000.
According to Mediapanel research, PTWP portals ranked first in Poland in the “business, finance, and law” category (April, June, July, and August 2025). In June alone, PTWP sites recorded a record number of readers, translating to over 34 million active users and nearly 122 million page views (Google Analytics).
Events Segment – Record Attendance
The proprietary events segment also saw record participation. The highlight of the half-year was the European Economic Congress, which gathered 18,000 attendees both on-site and online, including 1,300 speakers across 200 thematic sessions.
Other events organized in H1 2025 included:
- EEC Trends
- 4 Design Days
- Property Forum Cities and Regions 2025
- Health Challenges Congress
- Future Retail Congress
- Agricultural conference series
- ExpoGołębie
The Group is now preparing for upcoming events such as PRECOP, Energy Days, Health Market Forum, Food Market and Trade Forum, as well as new formats like Industry for Defense, a conference scheduled for mid-October 2025.
“The events segment is performing very well, but we treat this as motivation for further work, not a reason for complacency. Our role is to create spaces for dialogue and to build the best development models in strategic areas such as the defense industry. We look at our operations in terms of the entire year, where the intensity and dynamics naturally vary across periods. We consistently work on filling the events calendar and diversifying further. This approach allows us to maintain stable growth for the Group over the long term,” added Kuśpik.
Venue Management – Strong Performance in Katowice
The venue management segment (Spodek and the International Congress Center in Katowice) also delivered excellent results, with almost full calendars of cultural events, sports competitions, fairs, and congresses.
In total, during the first half of 2025, PTWP organized 228 events for more than 463,000 participants. Notably, 2025 marks the tenth consecutive year that PTWP has managed these venues.
