Polish mental health startup HearMe has merged with Czech group Hedepy, forming a wellbeing platform with more than 1,000 specialists and offering comprehensive support for both individuals and businesses across Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).
The Largest Wellbeing Platform in CEE
The new service, Hedepy for Business, is the result of combining Hedepy with HearMe. It is now the only platform capable of delivering a unified standard of wellbeing services across the CEE region. The expert team of over 1,000 professionals provides mental health support to private clients and corporate organizations alike.
For employers, the ability to offer services in over 10 languages is a key advantage, particularly for multinational companies with branches in different countries. Through a single tool, businesses can provide employees with standardized packages that include psychotherapy, mood assessments, webinars, and educational content promoting mental wellbeing.
HearMe contributed not only its know-how but also a base of 250 corporate clients and a network of around 150 specialists – including psychologists, psychotherapists, coaches, dietitians, and physiotherapists.
“Through close market observation, we created a unique package of solutions tailored to modern employees’ needs, genuinely supporting HR departments in their daily work. We safeguard employees’ wellbeing, help resolve problems quickly and effectively, support crisis interventions, and plan actions. Our holistic and innovative approach to employee benefits was recognized by investors, who valued both our expertise and business potential. As a result, our Polish team will lead the development of the new brand across the entire CEE region,” said Katarzyna Gryzło, founder of HearMe.
A Strategic Investment Strengthening CEE Presence
Hedepy already operates in nine CEE countries, previously focusing mainly on individual therapy. By merging with HearMe, it has expanded into the corporate wellbeing space. HearMe founders Adam Radzki and Katarzyna Gryzło will remain in leadership positions within Hedepy and become shareholders in the Czech company.
- Adam Radzki, HearMe co-founder, will serve as Chief Growth Officer, focusing on Polish sales growth and future M&A opportunities.
- Katarzyna Gryzło will lead B2B marketing for the entire group, scaling Polish business models to other markets.
This aligns with Hedepy’s growth strategy, which centers on integrating online and offline care more closely and expanding the use of artificial intelligence in areas where it can enhance services.
“With HearMe, we gain strong expertise in workplace mental health. We were inspired by their know-how and service quality, which we can now develop together in other markets. Going forward, we plan to invest even more energy into delivering innovations to companies that care about their employees. At the same time, this merger—uniting CEE firms with a strong entrepreneurial culture—enables dynamic business expansion and strengthens our value as an investment target,” said Lukáš Krčil, CEO and co-founder of Hedepy.
