COMPANIESPolish Company SatRev Launches Ground Station in Oman

Polish space-tech firm SatRev has successfully delivered a new ground station to its client in Oman. This milestone marks the culmination of ongoing collaboration with ETCO, a leading space industry company in the Sultanate.

The station features a 3.5-meter antenna, designed and built in Wrocław, Poland. It enables communication with satellites via UHF and S-band frequencies. To ensure performance in harsh desert conditions near the Omani coast, the station is equipped with a custom-designed radome developed by SatRev engineers. The structure provides protection against sand, heat, and the highly saline marine breeze.

One of the station’s key strengths is its modular architecture, which allows for flexible scaling of both hardware (e.g., adding more antennas or frequency bands) and services (e.g., integration with new satellite platforms, AI systems, or data analysis tools). This flexibility enables rapid adaptation to support multiple commercial or governmental constellations under the G-SaaS model (Ground Station as a Service).

The project marks a strategic step in SatRev’s mission to deliver complete and sovereign space capabilities.

“This ground station is more than just infrastructure – it’s a gateway to the entire GCC region. For our partners and investors, it sends a clear message: SatRev is ready to scale globally, here and now,” said Grzegorz Zwoliński, CEO of SatRev.

“The construction of this station exemplifies how Polish companies can take the lead in critical sectors of the future – from space technologies to strategic infrastructure. Data sovereignty, operational independence, and fast access to information are becoming fundamental pillars of both security and development,” added January Ciszewski, CEO of JRH ASI S.A., an investor supporting SatRev’s growth.
