Renters, Poland’s largest short-term rental operator and a portfolio company of Enterprise Investors, has completed another international acquisition. Following its debut in the Bulgarian market, the Polish company has now acquired Irundo, one of Croatia’s leading apartment management firms.

“This is our second international acquisition and yet another confirmation that partners across the CEE region believe in our vision — to build the largest short-term rental platform in Central and Eastern Europe,” said Kamil Krzyżanowski, CEO of Renters.
“They join us because they see that together we can grow faster and benefit from the technology, processes, and scale we’ve developed in Poland. Irundo is a strong brand in Croatia, and under Renters’ umbrella, we want to help it reach the next level.”

Irundo — a Croatian Market Leader in Holiday Rentals

Irundo Holiday Apartment Rentals, founded 15 years ago, is one of the pioneers and market leaders in Croatia’s short-term rental sector. The company manages over 300 apartments across top tourist destinations such as Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Rovinj, Rijeka, and Opatija, as well as in Belgrade and Vienna.

Over the years, Irundo has hosted hundreds of thousands of guests from around the world, building a reputation as one of Croatia’s most recognized hospitality brands.

Following the transaction, Irundo will retain its brand and management team, while gaining access to Renters’ technological solutions, operational processes, and strategic know-how.

“Joining forces with Renters is a tremendous opportunity for us,” said Tomislav Zovko, CEO of Irundo.
“Together, we will help property owners in Croatia achieve even better financial results, while giving our guests access to a broader and more diverse offer across Europe. This marks the beginning of a new chapter for our company.”

A Step Forward in Renters’ Regional Growth Strategy

The acquisition of Irundo is part of Renters’ ongoing strategy to consolidate the highly fragmented short-term rental market in Central and Eastern Europe.

The company currently manages over 5,000 apartments across Poland and abroad. With its latest acquisitions, Renters is rapidly strengthening its position as one of the leading players in Europe’s short-term rental market.

“Our vision of building a regional leader is clearly recognized by our international partners,” said Jakub Kuberski, Partner at Enterprise Investors.
“Behind the scenes, we’re already in advanced discussions regarding further acquisitions. Renters is not only consolidating its leadership position in Poland but is also becoming a major player across the entire region. With the next planned transactions, the company continues to solidify its position as the fastest-growing short-term rental group in Central and Eastern Europe.”
