Since June this year, Platige Image has been operating with a new management board. The Supervisory Board of Platige Image S.A. appointed Jarosław Sawko and Piotr Sikora, co-founders of the company, as Vice-Presidents of the Management Board. At the same time, Karol Żbikowski was dismissed from the position of President of the Management Board.
Rafał Zborowski, the new Chief Financial Officer of the Group, and Marek Jankowski, who will be responsible for production, have also joined the Management Board.
The changes in the composition of the Management Board are part of the previously announced process of adapting the organisation to the situation in the market for audiovisual production, visual effects, advertising and gaming. The industry is currently facing, among other things, cost pressure, changes in production financing models, greater selectiveness among clients and the growing impact of artificial intelligence-based tools on creative and production processes. At the same time, segments related to long-term cooperation on series and films produced for streaming platforms are developing — an area in which Platige Image has many years of experience and its own intellectual property.
Piotr Sikora is an executive producer and co-founder of Platige Image. In the past, he was responsible for developing the company’s advertising segment, and in 2016 he founded the production house DOBRO. He co-created many of the company’s key projects, including the Oscar-nominated “The Cathedral”, the BAFTA-winning “Fallen Art”, “Paths of Hate”, trailers for games from “The Witcher” and “Cyberpunk 2077” series, as well as productions made for Netflix.
Jarosław Sawko, Platige Image
Jarosław Sawko is a film producer and co-founder of Platige Image. He was the producer or co-producer of projects such as “The Cathedral”, “Fallen Art”, “The Kinematograph” and “Polish Legends”. He was also responsible for delivering visual effects for international productions, including “Antichrist”, “Melancholia” and “Wonder Woman”. He is also an executive producer of Netflix’s “The Witcher” series.
Marek Jankowski has been leading the Events & Broadcast team at Platige Image since 2008. This team of experts successfully creates and produces innovative events for some of the world’s largest brands and organisations, including FIFA, UEFA, NATO, EFNI and Polsat Sport. Over the course of his more than 25-year professional career, he has delivered more than 500 projects, including festivals, concerts, entertainment programmes and special events. From 2000 to 2009, he worked as a producer of entertainment programmes at Telewizja Polska S.A. The production and technical experience he has gained over the years enables him to effectively manage the most demanding multimedia projects.
Rafał Zborowski joined the company in May 2026, replacing Artur Małek as CFO. He is an experienced Chief Financial Officer with more than 20 years of practice in effective financial management, controlling and the transformation of capital groups operating in production, distribution, e-commerce and educational services in Poland and abroad. He holds an international CIMA certificate and an MBA, and specialises in management accounting.
Zborowski combines experience gained in financial management and the transformation of large enterprises and capital groups with the entrepreneurial approach characteristic of the small and medium-sized enterprise sector, where he supports owners and investors in building value and business succession. He specialises in projects aimed at increasing shareholder value, in particular through comprehensive programmes to improve operational efficiency.
Under the new division of responsibilities, Piotr Sikora will focus on business development, administration, and the diversification of revenue sources and areas of activity. Jarosław Sawko will be responsible primarily for long-term projects, HR, technological development and in-house productions carried out within the Group. The updated strategic plan is to be presented by the end of the third quarter of 2026.
