Paweł Racis has returned to Arval Poland as Commercial Director, taking responsibility for B2B sales, commercial strategy, sales-team development and relationships with corporate customers and business partners. The appointment took effect on 17 August 2026.

Racis brings nearly 25 years of experience in sales and operations. His return is also a return to a company he already knows well: he previously spent eight years with Arval and served as Commercial Director of the Polish business from 2017 to 2021.

Experience across six Central European markets

After leading sales in Poland, Racis became Regional Commercial Director, responsible for sales and marketing across Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Greece. The role gave him experience across markets at different stages of fleet development and electrification.

Before rejoining Arval, he worked at Boels Rental Poland as Sales Director, where he built the sales organisation following the acquisition of Riwal. Earlier in his career he spent many years at UPS, progressing from a sales representative role to Country Sales Director with responsibility for the company’s sales activity in Poland.

Arval focuses on corporate sales

In his new position, Racis will be responsible for defining and executing the commercial strategy for the B2B segment. That includes managing the sales organisation, developing long-term client relationships and working with partners as fleet customers face a more complicated set of decisions around vehicle financing and mobility.

The corporate fleet market is changing as companies assess electric vehicles, charging, total cost of ownership and new mobility models alongside traditional leasing and long-term rental. Sales teams therefore increasingly need to combine financing knowledge with operational and technology-related advice.

Fleet management is becoming more complex

For large corporate customers, vehicle selection is no longer only a procurement decision. Tax treatment, emissions targets, charging infrastructure, employee policies and residual values can all affect the economics of a fleet.

That creates opportunities for long-term rental companies but also raises expectations. Customers want suppliers that can provide data, service coverage and predictable costs rather than simply deliver vehicles.

A return to a familiar organisation

Racis is a graduate of the University of Warsaw and Warsaw University of Technology and has also completed an MBA programme organised by the Institute of Economics of the Polish Academy of Sciences together with the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies.

His return gives Arval Poland a commercial director with direct knowledge of the company and experience managing sales across several European markets. The immediate task will be to translate that experience into growth in Poland’s increasingly competitive corporate mobility market.
