ORLEN shareholders who own at least 50 shares can now register directly for the ORLEN w Portfelu shareholder programme online, regardless of which brokerage house holds their account. Until now, access was effectively limited to clients of six brokerages cooperating with the group.

The change expands the programme to a much larger share of ORLEN’s retail investor base. Registration is now available through an online form on the programme website, while the existing registration route through participating brokerage houses remains in place.

ORLEN says it has more than 170,000 individual shareholders, who together hold around 5% of the company’s share capital. Their shares are currently worth close to PLN 9 billion. More than 37,000 investors already participate in ORLEN w Portfelu.

What the programme offers

The programme has operated since 2018 and combines shareholder benefits with an educational component open to investors.

Eligible participants can receive discounts at ORLEN fuel stations, including PLN 0.10 per litre on EFECTA fuels and LPG, PLN 0.15 per litre on VERVA fuels and a 10% discount on selected non-fuel products.

Participants also receive access to selected educational materials, training sessions and events focused on investing and capital markets.

The new registration process does not change the main participation requirement: an investor must hold at least 50 ORLEN shares.
