Modus Asset Management, a company that manages funds investing in renewable energy projects in the Baltic States and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), has changed its name and will now operate under a new brand – Envolve Capital. The company currently manages four investment funds with a total committed capital of over 170 million euros.

“In the seven years since the start of our operations, we have become one of the largest entities managing investments in the renewable energy sector in Poland and the Baltic States. Reputable international institutional investors, family businesses, and private investors have put their trust in us. However, our long-term goals are even more ambitious – we want to be one of the leaders in this industry in Central and Eastern Europe, where we already manage many projects. To serve the next stage of our international expansion, we have created a new brand that reflects the company’s mission and bold ambitions for the future,” says Povilas Pečiulis, the general director and board member of the company.

According to him, a key element of the new name “Envolve” is the synthesis of the words “energy” and “evolution”. They embody the company’s strategy and its basic mission, which is the energy transformation throughout the region: “It’s an ambition that makes sense to us not only as a business goal, but also as a way to create a cleaner, more ecological energy system in Europe. It also directly contributes to the increase of independence and strengthening of energy security in our region”.

Envolve Capital currently manages four closed-end funds for informed investors investing in renewable energy infrastructure. The funds meet the highest sustainable development category SFDR art. 9, in accordance with the requirements of the European Commission regulation on the disclosure of information on sustainable financing.

The funds managed by the company have so far invested in solar and wind power projects with a capacity of 370 MW in three markets – in Lithuania, Poland, and Latvia. A significant part of them are already operational and producing green energy, while others are under construction and will be gradually launched in the coming quarters.

Envolve Capital is part of Modus Group, an international group of companies that, in addition to managing investments, also deals with the development of renewable energy (Green Genius), mobility services (CityBee, MyBee, Mobility Fleet Solutions) and automotive (Modus Automotive).
