COMPANIESMex Polska S.A. Continues Scaling Business with 14% Revenue Growth in Q1

Mex Polska S.A., a Warsaw Stock Exchange-listed holding company and one of Poland’s largest multi-brand restaurant groups, estimates that the first quarter of 2026 brought a continuation of strong year-on-year revenue growth. Consolidated revenues are expected to exceed PLN 29.5 million, representing an increase of approximately 14% year-on-year and confirming the maintenance of double-digit growth dynamics.

This result reflects the continuation of positive operational momentum built in the second half of 2025, as well as ongoing business scaling driven by both network expansion and improved sales efficiency across existing restaurant concepts.

Group revenues in Q1 2026 are expected to surpass PLN 29.5 million, compared to PLN 25.9 million in the same period of 2025 and PLN 22.4 million in Q1 2024. The consistent improvement in revenues across consecutive periods confirms a repeatable growth trajectory and a systematic increase in the Group’s operational scale. At the same time, revenue growth continues to be supported by diversification of restaurant formats and the steady expansion of the delivery channel, which is gradually increasing its share in the sales structure and improving the revenue mix.

“The beginning of the year confirms our determination to build a scalable and repeatable growth model based on our restaurant concepts. Sustained double-digit revenue growth, supported by network expansion and ongoing improvements in operational efficiency, indicates that Mex Polska is in a phase of long-term value creation. We are entering the coming quarters with a clearly defined development plan and increasing financial predictability,” said Paweł Kowalewski, CEO of Mex Polska.

The company emphasizes that the observed trend is structural in nature and results from the consistent execution of its development strategy, which includes scaling the network, expanding the portfolio of concepts, and systematically optimizing costs across the Group. Revenue growth is also translating into improved business quality, including a higher share of higher-margin sales and the gradual achievement of target profitability levels by new locations, strengthening the overall operating leverage of the model.

Sales performance is also expected to benefit from favorable spring weather conditions, which traditionally drive increased customer traffic in restaurants. The start of the outdoor dining season is likely to further support footfall and sales levels in key locations, potentially reinforcing revenue growth dynamics in the coming months.

At the same time, the Management Board highlights that the current period confirms the continuation of a positive business trend and a stable growth trajectory, alongside ongoing expansion of the restaurant network in Poland’s largest urban areas. The Group remains focused on scaling operations and further enhancing operational efficiency, forming the foundation for continued improvement in financial performance.

By the end of 2025, the Group generated revenues exceeding PLN 127 million, up 19% year-on-year, with a clear acceleration in the second half of the year, culminating in a strong fourth quarter. During that period, revenues increased by 24% year-on-year, EBITDA rose by 47%, and operating profit (EBIT) reached PLN 1.6 million compared to PLN 0.3 million a year earlier. The Group also reported a positive net result, confirming a return to full-year profitability and improved operational efficiency.

As of the end of 2025, Mex Polska S.A. operated a network of more than 60 venues across eight restaurant concepts, consistently expanding its footprint and strengthening the foundation for further growth in 2026. Planned openings in the first half of 2026 include continued expansion of key concepts in major Polish cities. In February, new locations of Chicas & Gorillas in Wrocław and Spoko Taco in Łódź (in a dark kitchen format) were launched. Additional openings include a Pankejk location in Sopot in April and another Chicas & Gorillas venue in Kraków in May.

These developments are aligned with the Group’s strategy of scaling its network and strengthening its presence both in physical locations and in the rapidly growing delivery segment.
